Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. WCAG defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

trustmarkmergers.com is designed to be substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Substantially conformant" means the site largely meets the standard, with some specific elements where conformance is in progress.

Measures we take

All decorative SVG icons are marked aria-hidden="true".
All meaningful images include descriptive alt text.
Color contrast meets WCAG AA (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
Keyboard navigation is supported throughout, with visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
Heading structure follows a logical, semantic hierarchy on every page.
Form fields have explicit, programmatically associated labels.
Page language is declared via <html lang="en">.
The site is responsive across mobile, tablet, and desktop viewports.
Animations and transitions respect the user's prefers-reduced-motion preference.

Known limitations

We are aware of and actively working on the following:

Some embedded third-party forms (Zoho) may not yet meet AA contrast in their default skin. We are working with the vendor on this.
Older blog posts imported from prior platforms may not yet have full alt text on every image.
